Personal Statement:
I design a lesson course for each student that allows them to play guitar with an understanding of good, effective technique. They learn some important scales and chords and how most modern guitar music is written. I am patient, positive and respect each students musical tastes. I can teach a strict Conservatory level course or a freer more creative method that includes music the student especially wants to play. I love teaching and helping students realize the healthy joy of playing a musical instrument.

Education/Training:
1965-66: Studied Classical and Popular Guitar privately with O'Neil Plasse (CBS Orchestra N.Y.). 1966-67: studied Contemporary and Traditional Folk as President of Reseda High Folk Music Club. 1968-71:Music Major at San Francisco City College. 1972 I became a Professional Teacher. (Much more study and performance experience which continues even today.)
